![]() ![]() I put the rubber foam on as a preemptive measure to stop any rattle against the frame. There is just enough room to fit it in there snugly. I then connected the ipod cable and harness to the ipod module and applied some of the included rubber foam to the bottom and slid the module into the opening around this velcro tab. I also fed the ipod cable from this same opening back to the door jamb channel. It's a velcro tab where you can access the VIN that is etched into the frame. From there I lifted the carpet and fed the harness through another opening in the carpet just under the front passenger seat. I ran the harness down the channel past the B pillar and to about half way into front driver side door channel. There is a factory cut opening in the carpet (presumably to access the seat floor bolts) which you can then feed the cable through towards the door jamb channel. I had to lift the seat back up half way to get the clearance at the floor to pull the cable out near the floor mat. Just behind the Bose Amp there is a small opening that will allow you to pass the harness down towards the floor. I ran the cable in the trough across the back towards the rear passenseger side door. I connected the extended harness to factory clip located (on my 2007 Canadian SL) behind the rear driver side seat. ![]() I thought I'd explain how I did the install for those who might also want to do the same: Jason and Rixmo, thank you immensely for your help, especially the diagrams, those were a HUGE help in ensuring I did not break anything. ![]()
